How your piece was made
Every piece goes through a simple yet meticulous process that begins with carefully selecting the leather. First the pieces are cut by hand; then each edge is worked and burnished one by one.
The stitching is done with both durability and beauty in mind. Finally the surface is finished, and every piece is inspected individually before it leaves the workshop. The refinement you see is the result of patient craftsmanship and time.
The natural character of genuine leather
Genuine leather is a material that has lived. Look closely and you'll see shifts in tone, fine grain lines, and small marks across the surface, each one different from the last — these are the signs of what is natural and real.
Over time the leather softens, its color deepens, and it takes on that unique look known as patina. It is precisely these differences that set your piece apart from an industrial copy.
Tips for everyday use
- Avoid leaving your piece in direct sunlight for long periods.
- Protect it from excessive water and humidity.
- If it gets wet, let it dry naturally — never use a heat source or dryer.
- Keep it away from chemical cleaning products.
- Avoid overfilling it; the leather will keep its shape over time.
- If you like, you can soften the look of scratches with a little leather cream.

How to care for leather
- Gently wipe the piece with a dry, soft cloth.
- Leather doesn't need frequent care; a little of the right care is always better than a lot.
- When the leather feels dry, you can apply a small amount of a suitable leather care cream.
- Leather creams vary from one another, so don't apply any cream directly or generously at first; test it on a small, hidden area beforehand.
- Products with a high oil content can darken the leather.
- Avoid alcohol, cologne, bleach, wet wipes, and harsh chemicals.
